Who we are

Tomorrow women Educational Development Organization (TWEDO) is a nongovernmental organizations organization established in 2014 and registered with the Ministry of Economy registration # (3330) and recognized an women led organization fighting as force of the ending violence against women agenda as well as being at the forefront of EVAW/G work, directly reaching women and girls survivors and those at highest risk of exclusion and marginalization.

 

TWEDO is led and for marginalized women and girls that have specialized knowledge, expertise, and a proven track record of working with women and girls facing or at risk of violence, focuses on reducing vulnerability and building capacities among marginalized communities with special focus on women and children

Vision:

An inclusive and just society with sensitized and responsive services provided to all equally , where all women and children have access to opportunities to improve their quality of life to realize their full potential in development process.

Mission:   

TWEDO demonstrate its  commitments  to the inclusion, protection and empowerment of Afghan women and children, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups, striving towards attaining their human rights and gender equality by:

Promotion of gender equality; providing education, political & social and economic assistance; increasing awareness and expanding resources. We also believe in nurturing women’s capacities through a participatory approach enabling them to lead a successful life).

Our Network  Following its establishment, TWEDO  established it network at community level ( youth groups , religious  leader’s individual human rights defender and other influential people )  -UN cluster ( GIHA- FSAC_ Nixes  Membership, DIWG etc.. . All activities of TWEDO are aligned with MGD and as per the relevant clusters of funding UN agencies. TWEDO is currently a member and participate ANCTIP ( Afghanistan Network for Combating

Our Team Our team is profession and experienced Afghans ’re a sincere organization with a straightforward vision. .TWEDO  had an amazing journey coming to where we are today, and now feeling confident that we can provide our people professional and effective solutions and services in a timely manner. We have extensive skills in implementing projects on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).Considering Do-No Harm Principals in our work

Independence: Since TWEDO is a none profit, nonpartisan and non-political organization, so it’s called independence relied on it believes for bringing positive and sustainable changes  in  the situation of women, men and children in accordance  with the Afghanistan national standards, and Islam believes with culturally respected approach in all its working areas for ever

Inclusiveness / Diversity:

 Our endeavor’s are cantered on humanity, we work where there is a need, regardless of race, religion, ideology, and beyond geographical constraints Acceptance and respect. Understanding that each individual is unique, while diversity is often viewed in relation only to race, ethnic and gender  differences, in the case of the workplace, diversity can cover all aspects in which people are different, including age, gender, ethnicity, language, cultural background, religious belief, sexual orientation and family responsibilities, as well as educational level, work and Life experience, personality and marital status. Rebuilds individual, group, and organizational capacity to incorporate difference, promote justice, and increase effectiveness with staff, members, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.    

Fairness/ Transparency:

Volunteerism

We mobilize and organize local volunteers  Community Support Groups and Networks to facilitated GBV servitors Voice  and their access to Justice  through meaningful  participation 

Advocacy :

TWED advocate trough assuming community resilience and enabling  community to take stands for resolving their issues and an for their peritomies linking community to donor and local stakeholders
